Call for Abstracts
BC Kidney Days will bring together clinicians and administrators from the entire spectrum of renal care delivery, both from BC and across North America, to discuss the latest research, trends, clinical treatment and surgical breakthroughs, and other subjects concerning improvements to renal patient care.
This year, we will once again showcase poster presentations to ensure maximum sharing of experiences, ideas, and research. We invite all BC renal care and renal transplant teams to present posters on local or regional research, education and patient care initiatives. Any topic related to enhancing the quality of care for all renal patients, including pre-dialysis, dialysis, and transplant patients, is welcome.
Posters will be evaluated for presentation, content, and innovativeness. Prizes will be awarded to the top three posters in Clinical Research and to one poster deemed Viewers’ Choice. Help us recognize and celebrate the wealth of innovations and accomplishments in BC’s renal community!
Deadline: Poster topics must be submitted using our online submission form before September 16th, 2013 and should include:
- The name of your renal centre,
- Name of poster lead (1) and team members,
- The title/topic of the poster presentation, and
- Brief introduction/abstract (150 words, max.) of your poster topic.
Poster Dimensions: Posters that have been accepted for display at the conference must be no greater than 4' x 8' in size.
Registration: Conference registration will be waived for team leaders only.
Reimbursement: A subsidy of up to $250 is available to cover poster costs. Original receipts must be submitted for reimbursement.
