Emergency Preparedness Month

Every May, BCPRA’s Renal Emergency Management Group promotes emergency preparedness to all renal patients, staff and physicians. The aim of this initiative is to increase the community’s collective ability to respond in the event of a disaster.

Key objectives include:

· Update and test the emergency fan out list

· Ensure all patients have an emergency preparedness booklet for their treatment modality.
